I have taken so few opportunities to photograph wildlife in the last three years that I’m afraid I’ve forgotten how. My 400mm lens rarely leaves the house.

And osprey? They are as common in these parts as vultures. So much so that I once vowed never to bother photographing them again.

🙂  But I’ve rarely made a vow I didn’t mind breaking. 🙂

    • Just to underscore how far I’ve strayed from bird/wildlife photography . . . I mentioned leaving my 400mm lens at home, and totally forgot that about a year ago I bought a 500mm lens. Have used it so little that I totally I forgot that I even had it. 😀

Looking forward to your shore pics complete with sunsets and umbrella drinks.

      • Holy moly!! You should really try it for street photography. You’re in no one’s face. And people seem to accept it as they think you’re a pro on some kind of assignment.
